Start the Day Right – Breakfast Fit for a Hero

Every self-respecting dad knows the day begins best with a hearty breakfast! Head to the Pumpkin Patch Café near the entrance in Market Square for a freshly prepared bacon or sausage cob and a hot coffee.

Alternatively, kick things off at Crash Landings, located at the far end of the park near Wild Acre Wood. With its massive indoor play area, it’s the perfect spot for kids to burn off some energy while you fuel up.

Dad vs. Kids – Who Will Win the Race?

If you’re at Crash Landings, challenge the kids to a race down the adventurous bumpy slides in the play area. Are you brave enough to join them? Will Dad take home the win – or will the kids prove unbeatable?

Set Off on a Robin Hood Adventure

After breakfast, hop on the Robin Hood Ride. Journey through the legendary Nottinghamshire countryside aboard beautifully themed carriages. Along the way, you’ll meet Robin’s merry friends, dodge his foes, and uncover surprises at every turn. It’s the perfect start to your day of adventure.

Time to Get Splashed!

If the weather’s warm, head straight to the Jolly Pirate Barrel Ride. Climb into a barrel for a swashbuckling ride full of squirts and splashes. Don’t worry – you won’t get drenched, so you can continue exploring the park without soggy shoes!

Lunch Break – Refuel for More Fun

With plenty of places to eat across the park, you’ll find something for everyone. Grab a great-value kids’ meal or a hearty dish for Dad to enjoy while you take a breather. Chat about your favourite rides so far and gear up for an exciting afternoon of family fun.

All Aboard the Tractor Ride

After lunch, head to the Tractor Ride for a relaxing journey around the park. Kids will love sitting upfront, pretending to drive, while the grown-ups can enjoy a leisurely ride in the back, taking in the sights and sounds of Sundown’s countryside-themed track.

We’re lucky enough to be able to offer accommodation at our very own Wild Acre Village at Sundown Adventureland.

There’s something there to suit every family, big or small with lodges for up to ten people. Many of the lodges also have hot tubs which allow you to while away the evening, chatting about all of the rides and experiences you’ve enjoyed together.

As a special surprise to our guests, we’re offering complimentary park tickets for all bookings at Wild Acre Village. You do not need to do anything; your tickets will be ready to collect from Wild Acre reception on arrival. All tickets are valid from 10am on the date you check in until the time the park closes on the day you check out.”
