Blue Light and Services Weekends

As a thank you to all of you who work in our Blue Light and Services staff, we’re again inviting you to a series of weekends, especially for you with all tickets for qualifying personnel only £10.00.

This year we are again running even more of our Blue Light and Services weekends, which run in May and September. We had feedback where some of you may have been on duty when we ran the event for single weekends, so we listened and added more!

It’s running on two weekends in May, covering the 10th – 11th May as well as the 17th – 18th May 2025

During the Blue Light and Services weekends tickets are only £10 each Per Service guest (other family guests are full price) and can be used by anyone serving in the Military/Police/Fire/NHS/RNLI/Blue Light.

Discounted tickets for the services weekend are for qualifying guests only with proof needed on arrival. All other guests visiting will need a normal entry ticket.

We will be open as normal from 10.00 right through until 17.00, so feel free to arrive any time during the day and stay as long as you like.

Start Your Day Right – Breakfast Time!

What better way to kick off your adventure than with a hearty breakfast? Treat yourself to our delicious bacon or sausage cobs, freshly prepared and served with your choice of sauce. The Pumpkin Patch Café in Market Square is your first stop, perfect for fueling up before you dive into the fun that awaits.

Step Into the World of Robin Hood

Why not begin your adventure with the legendary Robin Hood Ride? Journey through his exciting story, meet his band of merry friends, and come face-to-face with his foes. It’s a crowd-pleaser for kids and grown-ups alike – get ready to feel like a hero!

There’s all sorts of Monkey Madness at our Driving School

Next up, head to the Monkey Mayhem Driving School, where the kids can learn to “drive” under the watchful eye of some very cheeky instructors! After a quick briefing (delivered by monkeys, of course), your little ones will take to our specially designed track. They’ll be talking about their newfound driving skills for days – and they’ll even get a certificate to take home as proof of their talent!

Cool Off With a Pirate Adventure

If it’s warm and sunny (May and September are normally great!), hop aboard the Jolly Pirate Boat Ride. Drift along our winding river, where you might get a little splash as you cruise through the wild, pirate-themed waters of Sundown. It’s a refreshing adventure the whole family will love!

Time for Lunch

When lunchtime rolls around, we’ve got you covered with a variety of options. Grab a tasty kids’ meal or treat yourself to something delicious from our cafes and food outlets around the park – all at fantastic value. Prefer to bring your own picnic? You’re welcome to do so! We’ve created plenty of comfy seating areas where you can enjoy a relaxed meal together.

Ride Into the Afternoon

The afternoon is perfect for seeing how many rides you can tick off your list! From the Giddy Piggies soaring through the air to the adventurous Rocky Mountain Railroad, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Pick your favourites and hop aboard for more thrills and laughter.

Head Home With Happy Memories

After a full day of fun, we love seeing happy families head home with tired kids, big smiles, and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to welcome you and your loved ones to Sundown Adventureland – thank you for letting us be part of your special day!

We’re lucky enough to be able to offer accommodation at our very own Wild Acre Village at Sundown Adventureland.

There’s something there to suit every family, big or small with lodges for up to ten people. Many of the lodges also have hot tubs which allow you to while away the evening, chatting about all of the rides and experiences you’ve enjoyed together.

As a special surprise to our guests, we’re offering complimentary park tickets for all bookings at Wild Acre Village. You do not need to do anything; your tickets will be ready to collect from Wild Acre reception on arrival. All tickets are valid from 10am on the date you check in until the time the park closes on the day you check out.”
