We are very proud to announce we have again been shortlisted in the UK Theme Park Awards and we’d LOVE your help in voting for us here.
The three categories we’ve been shortlisted for are:
- Best Theme Park for Toddlers
- Best Play Experience – Angry Birds Activity Park
- Best Christmas Event – Christmas Spectacular
The judging panel to create the shortlist has been compiled using public nominations and with the help of a panel of expert judges including Paul Kelly (Chief Executive of the British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions) and Andy Hine MBE (Chairman – Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain). 36,828 nominations were received, with a total of 30 theme parks nominated for awards in 2022.
They are some of the most knowledgable people in the industry and it is great news that we have even been shortlisted – particularly in three categories.
Your vote would mean so much to the team and it would be great to finally beat one of the huge parks, having been shortlisted so many times before.
We never won when my Grandmother, Audrey Rhodes was alive, so for all of the family and the Sundown team, it would be a lovely, and fitting way to mark her passing.
