Three years ago, we were both excited and delighted to be voted as the sixth-best amusement park in the whole of the United Kingdom. It was a massive boost for the whole team and it genuinely spurred us on to do even better and listen to feedback to make a day at Sundown Adventureland even more memorable.
This was rewarded last year with an even better fifth position and lots and lots of excitement within the team. We also made it to number 23 across the whole of Europe. When Mrs Rhodes started inviting people into her garden for cups of tea, cakes and to meet some of her pets over 50 years ago, who knew it would grow to become one of the most loved parks in Europe?
So it is with MASSIVE pride that we can now announce that this year, we have done even better again, and according to you – our LOVELY customers, we are now the FOURTH best amusement park in the UK and quite staggeringly, we were voted as the 16th best in the whole of Europe.
So we just wanted to say some thank you’s.
Firstly, thank you to you, our customers for visiting us and giving such lovely feedback from your days spent with us. We do really listen to your feedback and as a team are working hard to make the experience better and better. We’re not a big team and many of us are family working together. Some of us have been here for almost all of our 50 year history.
Secondly, we want to thank our own team. It’s been very tough for many of them over the last few months, with the uncertainty over the COVID-19 lockdown, but they have been exceptional and come back to work with huge smiles on their faces, delighted to welcome you back to visit and have adventures together.
So that’s it. Thank you to all of you, from all of us and we hope to see you again soon.
