1. Wild Acre Reception Shop

There are plenty of options for shopping for your food and drink when you are staying at Wild Acre Village

Firstly, the three most local options - we’d always support shopping locally, so maybe try these first if you’re looking for a few items and top-ups if you’ve overdone it and need to restock:

Super convenient and on the doorstep within the reception area, our own handy little licensed shop stocks many of the last minute essentials you may need from bacon to beer and bread, wine and even locally sourced eggs. We stock what our guests have demanded most of all over the years.

2. North Leverton Village Store - Premier

Around nine minutes away and described by others as a ‘great small shop that offers a lot for its size’ and full of fresh products, sandwiches etc. It also has a post office. It has a slightly wider selection of goods than we have ourselves. Good for a quick meal in your chalet, but maybe not a big enough selection to put your Sunday dinner together.

A little further afield and the nationals are within reach, all in and around East Retford

3. Lidl East Retford

16 minutes away and full of the joys of the Lidl middle aisle.

4. Morrisons East Retford

For your big shop, 17 minutes and you’re at the big Morrisons.

5. Asda East Retford

Around the same time and distance as Morrisons, the Asda is a big store with the wide range you’d expect.

Fuel Stations nearby

There are a number of options nearby for fuel as follows:

The Nearest place for Fuel is Markham Moor roundabout which is on the junction of the A1 and A57. There’s also a service station there, but cheaper options are available a little further afield.

Both Asda and Morrisons in Retford will be cheaper for fuel and there’s a small BP Station on London Road in Retford too.
