The Sundown Adventureland Christmas Spectacular 2025

This year, our Christmas Spectacular 2025 at Sundown Adventureland begins on Saturday 15th November and runs until 4pm on Christmas Eve, the 24th of December.

Our favourite event of the year will always be the opening of the beautiful ‘Night before Christmas’ ride. It sets the scene for the whole Christmas event and leads the guests into Santa’s Grotto.

Christmas at Sundown is always months in the planning and weeks in the building. As soon as Halloween ends, we’re building up for Christmas. It’s our biggest event of the year and one we all love as a team. For many of our guests, it’s become an annual tradition to visit us as a marker to start their own Christmas celebrations. It’s the same for us too. Christmas isn’t Christmas until you’ve had a Sundown Christmas.

During Christmas Spectacular Weekends, which start on 15th November, your ticket includes 50 acres of fun rides, attractions and play areas covered with thousands of twinkling lights and some of the BIGGEST Christmas tress you will ever see, as well as your visit to meet the big man himself!

If it’s cold, wet or both, the mega-huge Crash Landings or Rodeo Corral offer a great indoor place to play and somewhere for you to get a drink and kick back for a few minutes, while the kids play and warm themselves up again.

When it’s your time to meet Santa, you make your way to the huge, warm, purpose-built Four Seasons Arena where you’ll be greeted by our fabulously festive elves! The Four Seasons Arena is transformed to take you back to a traditional time with beautiful festive lights and all sorts of entertainment to keep the kids happy. Plus, there’s The Cookie Cabin café to grab a drink and a few tasty snacks. If you’re looking for something hot and delicious, there are hot dogs, nacho’s, and tasty slices of pizza, freshly made crepes or a mince pie, amongst other sweet treats.  

After climbing aboard one of Santa’s sleighs you’ll take a magical journey through the enchanted forest to arrive in style at Santa’s Magical Grotto, where you’ll be greeted by the elves. When it’s your time, you’ll be invited by the super happy-smiley Mrs Claus to meet the big man himself, where the children will receive an individually wrapped present and the chance to share their wishes with him.

During the Christmas Spectacular, the park opens from 10:00 daily but during peak days in December we open extra early at 9:00am. The closing times vary throughout the festive season (please see the opening times link for more information), and from 9:00 until 16:00 on Christmas Eve (as I’m pretty sure we’ll all deserve a festive drink by then!)

Your ticket includes park entry for the day, use of all the rides and attractions, the amazing ‘Night Before Christmas Ride’ and a visit to Santa himself, all children over 90cm receive a lovely gift from Santa. All children under 90cm will be charged £4.00 during the Christmas Spectacular season, this also includes an age-appropriate gift from Santa.

Children can also watch and join in with live entertainment and dancing characters in The Four Seasons Arena (not included on our Christmas Economy Green Days )

Please note that when booking, the “Time Slot” you choose is the time that you need to arrive at the Four Seasons Arena to begin your Christmas experience. You can enter the park from when we open.
