Eggbert’s Easter Egg Hunt

Let’s plan your day for you

Pull up and park in our huge FREE car park, close to the entrance and hop, skip and jump along to the entry booths for your check-in. This will only take you a few moments and then the fun can begin. If you’re in an electric car and need to recharge for your journey home, aim for the car park on the left-hand side as you come through the gates and you’ll find the charging points right at the front of the car park.

The best days start with the best breakfast

Maybe it’s just us, but any day that starts with a bacon or sausage cob is always going to be a great day and ours are really great. Pumpkin Cafe which is close to the entrance in Market Square and serves a selection of breakfast options and great coffee and tea. Maybe even a cookie for the kids to give them an early sugar rush.

If you are already walking around then you could head for Brekkie at Crash Landings (at the far end of the park), Rodeo Corral (near Cowboy Street) both of which have breakfast options.

A few rides and adventures before lunch anyone?

With over 30 rides and attractions throughout the 50 acres of Sundown’s HUGE Adventureland you’ll discover a new adventure around every corner. Let the kids learn to drive at the Monkey Mayhem Driving School or drive the tractors around the brilliant landscaped track first. With these ticked off, you can head for the magical Rocky Mountain Railroad – Always a family favourite!

And then lunch!

If you want to bring a picnic there are places around the park. But you would be missing out on our great value family favourites on offer around the park! We’ve refined our menu over the years to offer great family-friendly value every day that’s been tested and approved by kids of all ages. We’re never claiming it’s gourmet cuisine, but it is always tasty, filling and wholesome food at a sensible price. If you are a little more gastronomic, we’re adding new dishes throughout the year too, that should satisfy even the fussiest of eaters.

I think it’s time to go hunting

So now it’s time for Eggbert’s Easter Egg Hunt. Every child is given a card with a trail to follow. It will take you around the park hunting for easter eggs that Honey Bear has sneakily hidden. Once you have completed the Egg Hunt, you can collect your delicious FREE Easter goodie from the Pumpkin Patch Cafe from 1pm until the park closes. Please note only one prize per child will be given. (We know they’re delicious as we had to test one or two of them).

And when you’re day is done

You’ll be leaving with tired, happy kids who’ll probably sleep all the way home, which means you finally get some peace and quiet and a chance to chat through your favourite part of the day and share your best pictures on your Instagram or Facebook, so everyone can share the fun.
